Venezuelan-British. Researcher, lecturer and international consultant, specialized in the social and economic impact of technical change. She is Honorary Professor at the Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, UCL-U.K. and at SPRU, Adjunct Professor at the Ragnar Nurkse School of Innovation and Governance, Estonia and Academic in Residence at Anthemis UK.
Franco Malerba
Professor of Applied Economics. President of ICRIOS, Bocconi University. Editor of the Journal Industrial and Corporate Change. Advisory editor of Research Policy. Associate editor of the Journal of Evolutionary Economics. He has been President of EARIE (European Association of Research in Industrial Economics) and of the International Schumpeter Society.
Thokozani Simelane
Director of research at the Africa Institute of South Africa (AISA). Worked for the South African National Parks, the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Served on the Standing Advisory Committee on Intellectual Property Rights (SACIP) of South Africa’s Department of Trade and Industry, the Research Ethics Committee of the HSRC and the South African Chapter of the System Dynamics Society.
Sunday Ojo
Professor of Computer Science, holding BSc Honours and PhD degrees in Computer. His academic career spans over 40 years, engaging in teaching, research & innovation, postgraduate students supervision in the field of Computing, at University of Ibadan in Nigeria, University of Botswana in Botswana, and in South Africa, University of Zululand, Tshwane University of Technology, and Durban University of Technology. Consultant to Botswana National Innovation Capability Database System, USAID Botswana Confederation of Commerce, Industry and Manpower Economic Research database system, Botswana National ICT Policy development, Commonwealth Network for Information Technology (COMNET-IT) ICT capacity building project for Commonwealth countries.
Saradindu Bhaduri
Associate Professor at the Centre for Studies in Science Policy (CSSP) at Jawaharlal Nehru University. He has held the Prince Claus Chair in Frugal Innovation, Development and Equity at the International Institute of Social Studies (of Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands) during 2015-17, where he is currently a Professor (honorary). Currently a member of the Trans-disciplinary Research Cluster on Pluralist Health Care (TRCPHC), and Foundig Coordinator of Trans-disciplinary Reseatch Cluster in Frugality Studies (TRCFS) at JNU.
Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad
Anke Weishe
Agricultural Engineer, Co-founder and Chair Innovation and Business Management of the Pharm-Biotechnology and Traditional Medicine Centre (PHARMBIOTRAC) at the Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Mbarara, Uganda. Anke is also an External Expert to the European Commission Horizon 2020, a Member of the Governing Council of the Sub Saharan Open University (SSOU) and serving on the WHO Regional Expert Advisory Committee on Traditional Medicine for COCID-19 response.
Ajebush Shafi Short
Trained as an Economist and hold a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Human Development from University of Maastricht in Netherlands, and a PhD in Business Administration from Tshwane University in South Africa. Part of the research team on catching-Up EU-horizon project and working on agro-processing global value chain research theme.
